Bacal's Internet Legal Research Guide

Acknowledgments and Credits

I am honored that the first version of this article was selected back in 1996 as the first full-length article posted on The ALI-ABA homepage and that it was one of the first, if not the first, such comprehensive article on researching the Internet that had been made available on the worldwide web. Over the years, it has evolved, with the encouragement of Mark Carroll of ALI-ABA, and most recently with the generous support of my law firm, Jennings, Strouss & Salmon, P.L.C., into a resource that has garnered much attention. Above all, I am thankful for the efforts of our fabulous summer associates, Shanna Bowman, Melissa Brown, Matthew Mansfield and Anne Leigh Moe, whose excellent scholarship and good cheer make one optimistic about the future of the bar. We hope that the latest version is especially valuable to the newest generation of lawyers.
