|MCLE Requirements||15 credits per compliance year, including 3 credits in legal ethics/professional responsibility.
The minimum requirement for Accredited CLE has been raised from ten (10) hours to twelve (12) hours. Many activities, previously available for self-study credit only, may now be completed and claimed as Accredited CLE (including use of accredited CD’s, DVD’s, Podcasts, non-interactive webcasts and teleconferences).
Reporting Date: For TX attorneys, the MCLE compliance year is a one-year period that begins on the first day of the attorney's birth month and ends one year later on the last day of the month that immediately precedes their birth month. Attorneys must certify completion of the required MCLE credits for the preceding compliance year by the last day of the month before their birth month.
