North Carolina

MCLE Requirements 12 credits per reporting year including 2 credits in legal ethics/professional responsibility or professionalism. Every 3 years, an additional (1) credit in ethics/professional responsibility, substance abuse or debilitating mental conditions awareness is required.

Compliance Date: Attorneys must earn the required credit amount by December 31 of reporting year.

Reporting Deadline: On or before February 28, attorneys must certify completion of the required MCLE credits for the preceding year.
