Colorado

MCLE Requirements 45 credits per 3-year compliance period including 7 credits in legal ethics.

Compliance Date: Attorneys must obtain the required credit amount by the third December 31 of the 3-year compliance period.

Reporting Deadline: Attorneys may certify completion of required MCLE credits at anytime within 3-year compliance period, but no later than the following January 31 after the close of the compliance period.

Video Broadcast Replays Credits may be available under Colorado's reciprocity rule; all courses are approved in Colorado's reciprocal jurisdictions.
CD-ROM Credits may be available under Colorado's reciprocity rule; all courses are approved in Colorado's reciprocal jurisdictions.
Self Study Credits may be available under Colorado's reciprocity rule; all courses are approved in Colorado's reciprocal jurisdictions.
In-House Programs Yes; must have outside publicity and be open to outside attendance; Colorado Bar members may obtain a maximum of 9 credits per compliance period in this format
Reporting Colorado attorneys and judges are individually responsible for reporting any CLE credits earned on a form affidavit provided to them by the Colorado Supreme Court Board of Continuing Legal & Judicial Education.
