Excellent faculty, knowledgeable, clear and entertaining. Great panels. There are judges, professors and employment law practitioners (plaintiff and defendant); you get a complete holistic perspective and also insights on how judges might rule.
An employment law attorney (in-house or outside counsel) would get not only a refresher (or intro) to almost all employment issues, but also to what the current developments are, what are the hot issues and how to handle them.
More enjoyable than many of the law firm conferences which tend to be more into the minutiae and either defense or plaintiff oriented. This gives you the total picture.
As usual, this course was excellent. This course is, by far, the best employment law conference I have attended.
Materials are wonderful reference tools and easy to follow.
This course is one of the best ALI courses—regardless of topic. The caliber of the presentations, the materials, and the speakers is remarkable.
Wow—incredible expertise of this faculty. Course materials are the most comprehensive and up to date-cutting edge that I’ve seen anywhere. I go back to them often, both for overview and as a starting point for research. There’s no weak link.
The judicial perspectives are priceless!
Best one of these programs yet.
This CLE was, as usual, excellent and the speakers were of the highest caliber. Thank you.
I've been attending this program for years. So, when I say that the program and its faculty
met expectations it is with the caveat that I think this is the premiere training for employment and labor matters and by
meeting expectations, ALI CLE had provided knowledgeable and articulate experts in the field.
Supreme Court Overview by Fitzpatrick was excellent.
Wage and Hour lecturers interacted well and complemented each other. Very informative.
LGBT panel--insightful and important analysis.
ADA panel--excellent and well-organized discussion.
Complex FMLA panel--thorough discussions and thoughtful.
The ethics hypothetical situations were well crafted and the discussion/advice was VERY well done.
Knowledgable panel. Well paced program.
Loved having both EEOC & Defense Perspectives!
