Why You Should Attend

Learn the challenges of commercializing a product on a global scale. Panelists examine regulatory systems such as REACH (European Union’s Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) and K-REACH (Korea REACH) and their interfaces and interactions with the US regulatory system. The panel also addresses the need for mutual acceptance of data among regulatory systems and examines how to efficiently navigate the process.

This program is the third in the four-part series: Entering the Marketplace: Public and Private Product Regulation at Home and Abroad, on the marketing and sale of products that have a significant chemical component. Legal, regulatory, product stewardship, standard setting, and private retailer initiatives will be discussed, and participants will gain an understanding of how chemicals are currently regulated and how these regulations may change in the future. Part four of the series, Product Marketing, will be on December 12.
